How Will You Make 2018 Your Best Year?

You’ve probably seen the ads for Best Year Ever. In a few days, you will hear New Year, New Me. I know, I was one of the people who had groups and books.

One of my first books, 28 Days To A New Me, captured all of the motivation, inspiration and excitement of starting a new habit and being committed to success. It didn’t specifically refer to the new year concept but the idea was simply to get in action.

We had monthly groups around this idea and had a lot of participation. The momentum created by a group of people chasing after their goals was amazing. Most of the time, I wasn’t even sure what it was I was doing to inspire. I was on a journey myself and I simply wanted others to become better as well. Participants brought many obstacles and challenges each month to the group. Most were health related. Through the process, some people lost more than 60 pounds. Others developed the habit of running daily. One particular gentleman added a pushup per day for more than a year. Seeing the growth, the changes and most of all, the confidence gave me a satisfaction I couldn’t really explain.

But I wanted more. I wanted to help more. I wanted to see sustained change and help people dig a bit deeper. So, I began focusing more on the personal performance and personal leadership side of things. This got people to dig into a process where…
