Day 1

Whether you are innovative, creative, or none of these, at some point, everyone has a dream. Yes, all 7 billion people plus on this earth dream and have dreams. But, unfortunately, the majority of dreams are not acted on. Some of us know what we want it to look like. But, we don’t act on it. Of the ones who do, the majority quit at some point because of the F word. FOCUS! They don’t lock into it!

Something happens and they immediately quit. The new, shiny object comes by and somehow steals their attention. They know they aren’t satisfied but somehow they keep falling prey to the same trick. There’s a project to do but the Facebook monster grabs them by the throat.

Let’s whittle it down even further. Some are able to focus, but they seem to focus on the wrong thing.

In this challenge, I want to be able to help you drill down to the area of focus which will work best for you. Let’s see if we can look at your area of highest purpose and desire. If you’re not sure what that is, we’ll look at several questions to help you get closer.

Honestly, I know that you can hop on Google and find tons of advice on purpose and passion and everything you should do to live your wildest dreams. There is a lot of information out there. But it’s all useless unless you can find where you want to focus and the best ways to implement the ideas you have. There isn’t one right answer.

But, you CAN make a choice to get clear about one thing and focus in on it.

But before you grab on to that ONE THING, what are the top 3 things which keep you from FOCUSING in to the dream and life you really want? What are your 3 biggest blockers?

Day 1 Prompt: What are the 3 biggest barriers keeping you from reaching your ultimate dream?

Where energy flows, focus goes. I want you to understand this because those energy blockers keep you from reaching your potential. They are able to block because we often have not yet identified them and can’t put structures in place to counteract them. So, let’s get clear on what is blocking you.

Instructions for today:

  1. Write a reply to the prompt for today. Use your own website blog, a wordpress.com blog or here on Medium.com. Your reply should be at least 250 words. You can write that in less than 10 minutes.
