The One Time You Didn’t Fight
You know the feeling. You’ve committed to something and then life gets in the way.
The voice in your head is whispering, “Don’t worry about it. Just go to sleep and then pick up again tomorrow.”
And you really want to listen to it.
But you are committed and so you realize there really isn’t a good excuse not to do something.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. But you must do something.
Here’s why.
Life is about habits. The more you allow yourself to quit, the easier it becomes. The more you allow yourself to fall off track, the easier it becomes to rationalize.
The more you rationalize, the more sense it begins to make in your head.
The more sense it begins to make, after a while, you don’t even remember why you were doing this. And now, you begin to tell yourself maybe it wasn’t that important to begin with.
Then you begin to question your existence and what you are really doing.
So, you make a decision to do something and now you’re back at the beginning of the cycle.
And it’s all because of the one time you didn’t fight.
